How to get lintian to shut up?
I am packaging imaptool using deb helper scripts. I am able to generate the
package. However, lintian complains like so -
E: imaptool: md5sums-lists-nonexisting-file e
E: imaptool: file-missing-in-md5sums usr/doc/imaptool/README.debian
E: imaptool: file-missing-in-md5sums usr/doc/imaptool/changelog.Debian.gz
E: imaptool: file-missing-in-md5sums usr/doc/imaptool/copyright
E: imaptool: file-missing-in-md5sums usr/X11R6/man/man1/imaptool.1x.gz
E: imaptool: file-missing-in-md5sums usr/doc/imaptool/buildinfo.Debian
E: imaptool: file-missing-in-md5sums usr/X11R6/bin/imaptool
What do these errors mean? How can I get lintian to shut up? Why are the
files missing in the md5sum?
