Acquiring Dental RVG on Linux
Reviving this[1] old thread after a gap of 1 year.
Thanks to the thread this[2] open source implementation to interact with a
dental RVG device got developed. As of my pausing this work it was
possible to extract the X ray image using our software, but it lacked some
image processing to make its quality match with the vendor supplied
software.
I am reviving this activity and look forward to inputs from this list as
before!
Here[3] is an image preprocessed by the vendor supplied software and for
exactly the same snapshot here[4] is the raw image gathered with the help
of usbmon.
Would appreciate some inputs on figuring out the transformation from [3]
to [4] - brightness, contrast, gamma etc. and suitable tools (preferably
non interactive) to carry them out.
