Hi,
smart-open[1] was lagging way behind fast-moving upstream. I've tried to
update the patches to exclude some failing tests. Unfortunately I failed
to exclude everything and I have the strong feeling that these issues could
be solved more elegantly. Some review + fix + team upload would be welcome.
