Happy to help! Feel free to ping me via email directly or CC email about non-x86 portability issues in packages.
FYI: This particular set of patches does need to be cleaned up and sent upstream, as do the patches[0] for onednn and wtdbg2.

When packages are not portable, we should document why in a dated comment in debian/control so that we don't repeatedly try to port packages that have significant fundamental issues (like hand written assembler, or requiring 64 bit archs).

If this is agreeable to the team, perhaps someone wants to volunteer to document this convention in the Debian-Med policy[1]?
