I've included the new version into our packaging Git[1].  Unfortunately
the autopkgtest fails:

gcc -Wall -Wextra -Wshadow -Wformat-nonliteral -Wformat-security -Wtype-limits -g -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE -D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -c unittest.c -o unittest.o
gcc unittest.o -o edflib_test -ledf
Error, line 79 file unittest.c
autopkgtest [07:47:13]: test run-unit-test: -----------------------]
