well, I already created packages in java team in the meanwhile....
it may also make sense to follow/fix issues related to java versions.

Some working packages on Java 9 were failing with Java 10 (which is new
default....)

With Java9 I could get picard-tools packaged. Now I package dependencies
and need picard cleanup but it is on the way (if java10 is not a new
issue...)
