Please consider a free license for Python biotools
Hi Andrew,
I'm writing to you on behalf of the Debian Med team which is a group
inside Debian with the objective to package free software in the field
of life sciences and medicine for official Debian. Since some user
intends to use biotools[1] I had a look into it and have some packaging
code ready in our packaging Git[2]. Unfortunately I have not found any
licensing statement neither at the web site nor inside the code. Thus I
have opened an issue in Github[3] about this but I'm not sure what might
be the most efficient way to get in contact. (Please also note the
other issues I opened.)
It would be great if you would consider a free license like GPL, BSD or
similar.
