Dear Hugo,

We are two engineers in the consortium, and we could find some time to work on this project during the upcoming year. However, none of us both has experienced on Debian packages.

The mentoring looks a nice way to start.
Emmanuel would you be a part of this project ?

I unfortunately don't feel confident or competent enough to act as a Debian mentor in the sense of Debian MoM. But I would definitely be happy to help on the way (and specific things linked with Sofa)!

I suggest you start by checking the two introduction pages Andreas sent last time, and... let's go for it!
