Maintaining NCBI Genome Workbench in official Debian
Hi Roman,
I'm writing you on behalf of the Debian Med team which is a group inside
Debian with the goal to package free software in life sciences and
medicine for the official Debian distribution.
I stumbled upon the NCBI Genome Workbench packages[1] for different
Ubuntu and Debian versions. If you would consider maintaining these
packages directly inside Debian you could spare the work to have all
this versions on the web site. Users could simply install via apt
without any additional sources or manual downloads. The Debian Med
team could support you in implementing this.
