Re: Versioning of snap-aligner

This issue may not provide much value for effort. Upstream never responded to my request for clarification: https://github.com/amplab/snap/issues/57

Hi Michael,

when browsing throught the list of packages with no sensible uscan
result in DMD[1] I stumbled upon snap-aligner.  I commited a watch file
that is able to detect and download the releases tagged by upstream.
IMHO the latest version should be 1.0~beta.18 and not 0.18~1.0~beta.18.

What do you think about this?

Kind regards

I agree. The latest tag (v1.0beta.18) should be mangled to either 1.0~beta.18 or 1.0~beta18.
