Benchmarking adapters

Hi folks

when trying to package AdapterRemoval[1] (packaging will show up in Git
soon) I spotted some benchmarking suite[2] featuring several packaged
and some not yet packaged software.

I guess we could make some use from this code.  If you have some good
idea how we could do this the best way I'm open for ideas.  Currently I
could imagine a package adapter-benchmarks, depending from those
packages we have and patch the according locations.  Any better idea is
welcome.
