I stumbled upon the removal of some .hg files which are some admittedly
useless for packaging files from mercurial which do not really harm.
I'm perfectly fine if this kind of files are removed once we need to
remove some files due to some copyright reasons.  However, breaking
md5sum compatibility with upstream download just to do some esthetical
polishing is probably not a good idea.  Am I missing some other reasons
for the repackaging?
