Right, those are cmd line tools. Should indeed be renamed.
Anyway, there are multiple discussions on debian devel, because it is not python3 compatible and should not be uploaded if upstream does not plan to go to python3....
I may have a look to make it compatible but honestly i am not an expert in python.
Package may finally never go to Debian.
