Re: Checking build errors

Dear list,

Here's a follow up on what the debian-mentor list said:
- Ask your sponsor to log in to the porterboxen, do a build and send you
the results: https://db.debian.org/machines.cgi
- Ask for a guest account on the porterboxen yourself:
https://dsa.debian.org/doc/guest-account/
- Use qemu to simulate the target arch

Gert Wollny ran a build for me on a powerpc laptop and reminded me of
the fact that endianness may be the problem, since some of the input
files for the tests are binary.
Later he even dug into the code to show that that indeed was the problem.

So either upstream fixes the endian issue or I should mask the
big-endian machines in the control file.

Thanks to Paul Wise, Tobias Frost and Gert Wollny for their input and time!
