Uhmmm, yes, I did. I was just running licensecheck which was displaying
unknowns. The problem is that the files with this copyright are stating:
/*
* Copyright (c) 1996-2001 Lucent Technologies.
* See README file for details.
*/
but there is no README file. :-(

I liked your offer a lot when you announced it but I had the impression
that you were the only one who is honestly doing this (even I need to
admit that I'm not very good in checking copyrights - if you need a
proof see above). I have just problems putting all the work on you and
so I hesitated to follow the proposed procedure.
For locfit I'll contact upstream and will ask for rejection to spare
ftpmaster the work of useless checking.
Kind regards
Andreas.
