Those will be dependencies anyways. They have got no reason to
exist on their own in a med-practice-*.

MySQL Server dependency of what package ?

If MySQL does not come as a dependency of any package in med-practice-*
there is even less of a reason for it to be in med-practice.

Can you give a reason ?

ksnapshot (kde)
Krita (kde)
Kate (kde)
gedit (gnome)
ekiga/linphone

Those are fairly generic. Maybe a screenshot tool. Can you give
use cases defining their need in a med-practice-* ?

For debugging purpose, allow users to send screenshots to dev teams.

That's what I said: "Maybe a screenshot tool." What about the
others, however ?

# printing related packages
cups
cups-pdf
pdktk
pdktk-gui

Dependencies.

pdktk dependency of what package?

gnumed-client, for example

If it wasn't needed by that there would be no place for
it in med-practice-*

To make a long story short - since two doctors already do not really
agree what sorts of *-office-* staff should be include with
med-practice-* I would stay away from that alltogether. I would
recommend to include true medical software only.
