Re: Any progress with FIS GT.M?

Hi Andreas,

We got a new plan !

We will be holding a hackathon with the
upstream fis-gtm team on June 13th.

We will have in the same room, GTM developers,
CMake developers, and a lot of coffee.         :-)

We probably will need support from Debian mentors
that day as we hit the details of packaging. Hopefully
we can reach out via IRC and the mailing list...

but...
if there is any Debian packager out there in close
proximity to Clifton Park, NY, who wants to share a
fun hackathon day with us on Wednesday June 13th...

Please just raise your hand.     :-)

    Thanks

          Luis

Please note that "some time in June" is to late to meet the Freeze "in
second half of June".  This in turn would mean another two years of
Debian stable without GT.M (at least).

Oops,...

Thanks for pointing this out.
I should have paid attention to the Freezing schedule...     :-/

I fully agree with you, being so close, we should just charge
forward and do a final push to get fis-gtm in to Debian stable.

Let me check with Bhaskar and get back to you and the list
with an updated plan, aiming at making the freeze deadline.
