Hi Andreas,

As bowtie2 is not a drop-in update for bowtie1, I think that it is completely
appropriate to give it a separate source package.  Alex, you are most welcome
to use your favorite version control system.  Please open an ITP bug as well so
that the description can be commented by everybody.
