About non-free license for non-copyrightable work.



Dear FTP team,

the recent case about the timezone database reminded that facts are
not copyrightable.

In the emboss package, currently in our main section, we found in the test
suite a data file under the Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivs License.
Here is an extract of the file.
