More pages - projects, companies
Hello again,
I'd be interested to see the packages listed that we are working on (on varying degrees of
activity) as a community. Those projects don't necessarily have produced any packages yet,
but they eventually should. What comes to mind are
* getData - the automated installation of bioinformatics data
* our future work on Debian Med clouds
The entries should have a short description and a pointer to wiki.debian.org where
appropriate.
Another interest of mine, I had mentioned that in some earlier emails to the list, is to
collect those companies that provide commercial support for our developments. There is
such a list provided on www.debian.org, and but this is not appropriate for our very
specialised subgroup of packages which requires quite some domain knowledge. To be listed are
* Karsten's company
* EagleGenomics in Cambridge (Open Source Bioinformatics support and development - they
give back to the community, e.g. are upstream of BioJava) have asked to be listed
* another one in southern Germany which I need to contact first about this
Do I hear some "yip, this will help us, go ahead" somewhere?
