CYBOP Book

Hi,

I would like to announce my recently published book entitled
"Cybernetics Oriented Programming" (CYBOP) to the readers of this list:
http://cybop.berlios.de/books/cybop/index.html

It is published under the GNU FDL license.
The link also includes order information.
There are only 500 pieces left ;-)

The CYBOP concepts, language and interpreter described in the book
will become the basis of the "Res Medicinae" project, which will be
entirely written in CYBOL (XML).

Here are some of the topics covered by the book:

- Software Engineering Process
- Physical System Architecture
- Logical System Architecture
- Structural/ Functional/ Object-/ Component-Oriented Programming
- Domain Engineering
- Knowledge Engineering and -Modelling
- Terminologies and Ontologies
- A new kind of Knowledge Schema
- An XML-based Knowledge Modelling Language
- A Knowledge Interpreter written in the C Programming Language
- Standards for Medical Software

Thanks,
Christian Heller
