GenoViz genome browsers (fwd)

Hi,

I guess Steffen wanted to post this to the whole list because there is
nothing private. This is a project for our web pages. I just repeat my
call for helping hands for Tobias who did a great job maintaining the web
pages but needs some help in times when he is busy with other stuff.

Read more about how to maintain pages at Debian website at

   http://www.debian.org/devel/website/

Kind regards

        Andreas.

Subject: GenoViz genome browsers

Haaaalllo,

http://genoviz.sourceforge.net/

The GenoViz project includes three components:

GenoViz SDK (software development kit) is a library of re-usable
components for genomics data visualization.

Genometry is a unified data model to represent relationships between
biological sequences.

Integrated Genome Browser (IGB, pronounced "ig-bee") is an application
built upon the GenoViz SDK and Genometry for visualization and
exploration of genomes and corresponding annotations from multiple data
sources.

Source code for IGB is available
is covered by the Common Public License,
v1.0, an OSI approved open source license.

GB is Copyright (c) 2000-2005 Affymetrix, Inc. Research and development
of IGB is supported in part by NIH grant R01HG003040.

Herzlichst

Steffen
