The machine is indeed down, I do not know what happened at the moment.
The project page is the following

which has a nice Wiki explaining details. The repository is thought to
move to alioth in very near future....we are all a bit too busy at the
moment, but just write to the alioth project mailinig list telling us
how urgent things are ... it is always stimulating.
I just popped in from travelling and will be away tomorrow again for the
rest of the week. Damn.
