On raster3d's Makefile, it uses -fsigned-char on GCC and G77 when building binaries for the PPC arch. And I never used a Linux on PPC... I don't know if raster3d will compile and run OK on PPC. This is the only difference between "normal" Linux and PPC Linux. What do I have to do about that?
To possibilities: 1) Wait for an upload and let the autobuilders do their job. If all works well it is OK if not you will get a bug report (mostly together with a patch from the porters - thanks to the porting team for this nice work BTW). 2) Ask a DD to log in into a PPC machine to check before the autobuilder. I'm currently to busy for that and I personally would prefer 1). Kind regards Andreas. -- http://fam-tille.de
