General information about next generation of Debian-Med meta packages
Hi,
a new build system for meta packages is currently under development
and thus the latest med-* packages are available in the experimental
distribution until Sarge is released to avoid having not carefully
tested packages into the stable distribution.
The effect for the user is probably quite low but the build system will be
drastically enhanced regarding to the building of user menus and also support
for tasksel will be included. Working on this stuff is the reason why I was
a little bit quiet on this list in the last time.
