Bug#199874: ITP: molmol -- Display and analyze structures of biological macromolecules (fwd)

Hello,

I just want to make those who do not read debian-devel aware of an
interesting micro-biological program. The maintainer needs a sponsor
and I would like to ask here whether somebody is interested because
my sponsoring capacity decreases more and more. If nobody wants I
will step in here.

Hint to Frank: I'm looking foreward to "Please include ling description"
mails.  :)
I suggest to add it now because you can be sure that people will ask you for
this. It's no schame to forget it - also long term developers sometimes fail
to provide this.

Kind regards and thanks for supporting Debian GNU/Linux

        Andreas.

* Package name    : molmol
  Version         : 2k.2.0
  Upstream Author : Reto Koradi <kor@mol.biol.ethz.ch> et al.
* URL             : http://www.mol.biol.ethz.ch/wuthrich/software/molmol/
* License : non-free (academic type "use me, but cite men in publications")
  Description : Display and analyze structures of biological macromolecules

I'm not a Debian Developer - thus would need a sponsor.

In fact the package is quite ready, but the license and distribution
permission have to be clarified with the authors.

Bye, Frank
