Thanks for the hint. I just added it to the Debian-Med web pages
where it should be available at
    http://www.debian.org/devel/debian-med/other#mediutil
soon (i.e. after the next Make build of the web pages which typically
runs every 4 hours).

Sure. One of the aims of Debian-Med is to coordinatee development and
re-development is wasting time.

Some hints regarding the software (Gérard Delafond in CC):

  1. Apply a concrete license (like GPL, BSD, MPL, whatever).
The statement "This program is free software." on the
     web page is not enough.
  2. Do not forget to include the license into the download files.
  3. IMHO it would be better if you would supply extra source and
binary download files. I just downloaded
      http://www.mediutil.tuxfamily.org/download/mediutil.tar.bz2
where binary and source is mixed. This is inconviniant and
in case we would like to ship the program with Debian-Med we
would have to repack the download file to remove the binary.
  4. Just make only those files executable who are really executable.
For instance *.h, *.cpp, *.txt are plain text files and
     should not be executable.
  5. General hint: Try to coordinate your efforts with GnuMed

Perhaps, but French is so difficult. ;-))

Thanks for your hints

         Andreas.
