Yes, but there are people who do not read the docs and might perhaps
take outdated stuff from there ...

Just understanded.  My intention was just to warn about confusion.
It was kind of general statement Debian developers do if upstream
authors want to keep their own packaging stuff in CVS...

The canonical place is

       http://packages.debian.org/<packagename>

Thus

       http://packages.debian.org/gnumed-snapshot

will be the right place to go once this package will be existing.
