Bug#963118: mate-terminal: several issues and crashes with --window and --tab and --command

Package: mate-terminal
Version: 1.24.0-3
Severity: important

Hi all,

here are some issues with current mate-terminal:

*** tmux with new window ***

$ mate-terminal --window --command tmux
realloc(): invalid pointer
Aborted
$

This tears down **all** instances of mate-terminal (well, it is only one
with many windows I guess).

screen does work, though

*** --tab from a mate terminal ***

Doing
	mate-terminal --window
	mate-terminal --tab
from a non-mate-terminal does correctly open the tab in the last opened
mate-terminal.

But doing it from a mate-terminal opens a tab in the *current* terminal
window instead of the last opened one.

At least this is my reading of mate-terminal --help-all
	 --tab Open a new tab in the last-opened window with the default profile

****

Thanks for maintaining mate-terminal, it is my favorite terminal
emulator!

All the best

Norbert
