Package: mate-control-center Version: 1.22.1-1 Severity: normal File: /usr/bin/mate-appearance-properties Dear Maintainer, When using Appearance Preferences (Menu -> System -> Look and Feel -> Appearance), there are two options in the Interface tab: Show icons in menus and Show icons on buttons. The second one (show icons on buttons) doesn't to anything. It doesn't affect the 'Preview' or any application (already running or newly lunched). The first one is partially broken. It applies only sometimes, and with significant delay, or only applies to some icons (even of the same type!). I tested this with Pluma, Caja and Gimp.
