Bug#917221: mate-panel: battery monitor

Package: mate-panel
Version: 1.20.5-1
Followup-For: Bug #917221

Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?
Rebooting or powering the computer on/off makes the battery monitor often disappear.

If you add a new one, it works fine until it's time for a warning, in which case all copies of the monitor suddenly reappear.
This happens regardless of which panel you've added the monitors to.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
Resize the panel
Add a new monitor

   * What was the outcome of this action?
Resizing was suggested on Ubuntu forums, occasionally works
Adding a new monitor works, but all the old ones are still there and just hidden and occasionally all show up at once

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

The battery monitor to remain stable as it usually does.

Thank you!
