Package: mate-desktop
Version: 1.20.4-2

Machine is an i3-6100t which has Intel HD Graphics 520. Monitor is plugged in via onboard vga port.

Task bar and status bar shown correctly but no icons presented for users and desktop background changes (once) after 10 seconds.

If I install a discreet gpu (a GTX 1060) and then nvidia-kernel-dkms it give errors about missing i915 firmware files.

Reinstalled Stretch which works correctly, with or without the discreet gpu.
