I did not want to make you feel bad about it, we really appreciate your work; just wanted to clarify what I believe most DD's expectations are.
No one but you can decide how much you wish to put into it. It's just a matter of either having someone who can step up and help you by caring about stable, or simply state the limitation in debian-security-support as suggested by Beuc, you don't necessarily need to step down as uploader.
