Please do not interpret what I have to say as me being defensive.
I have no problem waiting when it is required. I also understand that
there are many tasks which fall to the FTP masters and that means that
sometimes a backlog builds up. It would be helpful if there were
expectations regarding how long things should normally take. Granted,
such a thing may not be possible. Though, without that it is difficult
ot know whether to wait a day, two days, or a month.
Suggestion: one of the FTP master team members is also an active LTS
contributor. Perhaps an arrangement could be reached where required FTP
master support for LTS activities could be provided under the LTS
umbrella rather than imposing on the volunteer members of the team.
