Hi,

I do not have time to do this work, and would appreciate if someone from
the LTS team was doing it.

Note that only Sid / Testing has the up-to-date version of the package,
including all security fixes. However, upstream is very cooperative, and
he may accept to write patches for Wheezy if asked. He's Cc-ed to this mail.
