Hello,
I have just tested the new revision (9.06~dfsg-2+deb8u4) on the machine
where I originally experienced the reported issue.

I can confirm that the regression seems to be fixed!
Everything works fine now.    :-)

I think this bug report may be closed as fixed in version
ghostscript/9.06~dfsg-2+deb8u4 .
