If you are running the LSB test suites on Debian you need to use a new version(8.44 or newer) of alien to convert the rpms. I discovered a bug where when converting the lsb-runtime-test rpm using alien the installed debian package fails to have the right permissions on install. Joey Hess figured out a way to fix it in alien and has uploaded version 8.44 which fixs it. -- Matt Taggart taggart@debian.org
