From http://www.opengroup.org/lsb/cert/docs/LSB_Certification_Policy.html

] For the LSB Runtime Environment, LSB Application and LSB Build
] Environment products, a Conformance Release consists of a defined version
] of the LSB Specifications for a specific processor architecture plus a

] Release consists of a defined version of a defined version of the
] LI18NUX specification plus a Product Standard that defines the full
] conformance requirements for a particular version of the certification

] the LSB Runtime Environment Product Standard.

We're aiming to be an LSB Runtime Environment. Maybe we're not aiming
to be an LSB Internationalized Runtime Environment too?

Actually, http://www.opengroup.org/lsb/cert/docs/conformance.tpl doesn't
even list an internationalised LSB IRE for 1.3 (there is one for 1.2);
and the RE for ia32 just says:

] The LSB Runtime Environment for IA32 Product Standard is for platforms
] providing services that conform to the LSB specifications, specifically
] the Linux Standard Base Specification 1.3 common specification, in
] conjunction with the Linux Standard Base Specification for the IA32
] Architecture 1.3 architecture-specific specification.

Presumably this is why there aren't any distros listed as being certified
i18n-ed runtime environments.

Cheers,
aj
