Re: Error on building trixie live iso with persistency

Ok, im no expert on live-build, Im just working on my own design. So these are just some things I noticed.

The post your trying to follow is over 11 years old, Ive noticed that a lot has changed and many times those old posts are no longer accurate.
Though I cant speak to this one as Ive not tried it.

I will say that you put package lists in config/package-lists/<listname>.list.chroot and it is just a list of packages to install.

I not sure about the bootloader parameters, I reworked the whole config/bootloaders for my own needs.

With that said, you are welcome to look at how im doing things i my project at

Hi,

I'm trying to build a live trixie with added persistency as boot
parameter, using
https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/118965/how-to-create-a-debian-live-usb-with-persistence,
starting with paragraph "Build your own Debian live" and changes from
buster to trixie.

I get the error:

P: Begin install linux-image...
cp: cannot stat 'chroot/boot/vmlinuz-*': No such file or directory

The build command and output protocol are under

Any help appreciated, Hans
