Dear Maintainer,

I believe that entering a username of user will always force the password to be 'live'
regardless of the password given during installation.

   * What led up to the situation?

Installing Debian from the Install Debian icon on the Live ISO.
   Specifically debian-live-11.6.0-amd64-xfce+nonfree.iso

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

I gave the username as user, and I set the password as 'password'.

   * What was the outcome of this action?

My password was incorrect. I repeated this several times to ensure no mistakes.
I then searched and found that the default installation password for user is live.
Only the password 'live' would allow me to log in.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

I expected my userame and password to be user and 'password' respectively,
   not user and 'live'.
