I opened a bug report a few months ago in regards to Calamares. After opening the bug, I discovered that the issue had previously been solved by an open merge request
https://salsa.debian.org/live-team/calamares-settings-debian/-/merge_requests/3. I wanted to ping about getting this merged when the maintainers have spare time, as it fixes a number of bugs, one major issue being secure boot support.
