Roland, when you inser the cd/dvd/usb you get the options to us the media "live" or to install. I'm pretty sure that's what Harshad is referring to.

During the installation process you come to an option Hostname, where it already has Debian in it but you can change it.

I'm not certain that I understand what you mean.
The 'live installation setup', what is it? (Which program did you start,
or which boot option did you use)
