Re: Persistence not working debian live

I've rolled up some custom debian ISOs using live-build to use on a live

a partition called persistence and populated it with a persistence.conf
file containing "/ union". However, none of my data is being saved. I
test this out by booting the system, making a file in the home directory
of my user called test.txt, and then rebooted to see if it was still
there. Am I doing something hideously wrong?

It's been years, but I remember I needed 'aufs' to make changes while running a live system, like adding software or saving files. I hope that helps.
