live build for HDD on Debian 8 not bootable

Hi all,

I am trying to build a disk image using live-build and took following
steps (as described in the manual)

mkdir live-build && cd live-build
lb config -b hdd
lb build

After fixing the issue with syslinux/SYSLINUX extlinux/EXTLINUX in the
script, this generates a disk image live-image-amd64. Trying to boot
it with 'qemu-kvm -hda live-image-amd64' gives following error though:

"This is not a bootable disk"

I have tried it with live-build 4.0.3 and 4.0.5 but no success. Can
anyone help me with this?
