there's the nwipe package in debian (dban 'fork').

live-boot would need to know where to look for the image in its "find
live filesystem" function. looks like a two line patch to me.

I tried setting live-media=rootfs but it seems to expect a device.

Daniel (Baumann), I've tried to figure out where the changes need to be made in the scripts in /lib/live/boot/, but I must admit that I've failed. There are functions calling functions calling functions and I get lost along the way.

I would very much appreciate it if you could give an example of how to make find_livefs look for the squashfs file in the initrd/rootfs file system.

Cheers,
Daniel
