Re: Booting debian livecd iso from grub2 - panic Unable to find a medium containing a live file system
i have the same problem, i need to boot that specific release, due
squeeze load perfectly on Daruma's low end machines, and wheeze
hangs...
i try to report in debian bug tracking but no good response:
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=741452
when i used live debian and booting see that can use "fromiso" and
boot a iso file on disk... either use wheeze or squeeze!
i revised some scripts but i not have idea due booting process do not
show usefully info
Please if any can provide me some tips for fixed i can made a patch and send
log:
mkdir: can't create directory '/isofrom': File exits
mount: mounting /dev/sda1 on /isofrom failed: No such file or directory
sh: bad number
losetup: /dev/loop0: No such file or directory
my boot parameter are same as live does
1) boot, when display i push "tab" key
2) added " fromiso=/dev/sda1/debian-live-6.0.0_i386.iso "
disk are etx3 and only have that file
i report that using squeeze live cd lasted, but same error got in
wheeze based live cd lasted..
