i'm afraid linux never worked properly on apple hardware anyway, but

personally, i can't do anything about it, i (deliberatly) don't own any
apple hardware. i recommend you're trying for each component, if you can
reproduce it with current unstable and if so, report bugs against the
faulty packages in question.
