Package: live-build
Version: 4.0~alpha30-1
Severity: normal

Using live-build with debian-installer on a sid based system with version 4.0~alpha30-1 from Experimental successfully
building and booting a livecd session. The correct kernel packages were included in /config/packages.chroot.

The installer proceeds to Load Installer Components from CD and errors oout with:

No kernel modules were found. This probably is due to a mismatch between the kernel used by this version of the installer and the kernel version available in the archive.
As stated, the correct kernels have been included and are what is shown with

uname -a

3.10-3-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.10.11-1

I can be in the live system for any amount of time where needed to report any additional information

this is because debian-installer releases happen too infrequent to match
the kernel version in the archive. there's nothing live-build can do about.

you can however switch to debian-installer daily builds with lb config
--debian-installer-distribution daily.
