there is more needed in both live-config and live-build (not even
present yet in 4.x) to optimally work with systemd. most likely, the
systemd support is removed for init-agnostic backend soonish anyway (so
the systemd specific things should be considered dead code). unrelated
to that specific things, there is still lots of testing wrt/ systemd and
live-* needed. just adjusting the boot order is not enough.

i'm strongly against having half-backed systemd support in 3.x that
users are supposed to use/is supposed to work. in particular, i'd veto
any update with regard to that in wheezy. if you want to continuesly
patch 3.x for systemd support, you're welcome to do that unofficially in
your own packages.

we're always making sure that live-* works on the previous stable
version. we do encurage people to use it that way, and we do support
them doing that. therefore, people wanting systemd support in live-*
should help making systemd support completed in live-* 4.x.
