lock kernel upgrade

Hi all,
I use live build with encrypted persistance (I override with aufw the
entire root partition).

In this scenario an kernel upgrade isn't useful because only live kernel
can started, and reduce persistance's space.

What is the best way for lock the kernel upgrade?
I try with this hook but doesn't work:
